Dow Corning® 995 Wet Glaze Attachment
Now that Armorcoat® is now installed it will keep broken glass together however it will not ensure that it stays in the frame. To maximize the performance of the window film it now requires the application of a structural sealant. A heavy bead of DOW 995 will attach the glass/film combo to the frame. This is the best performing attachment system for holding the glass in form.

Saint-Gobain Solar Gard® Armorcoat® films are intended to enhance safety and security and act as an additional barrier to delay forced entry through windows and entry glass. Armorcoat must be proffesionally installed according to the Solar Gard® installation specifications.
Armorcoat® films are not intended to prevent forcible or unauthorized entry to the building where it is installed. Armorcoat® is not bullet-proof or blast-proof and does not meet ASTM F 1233 or UL 752 for bullet resistance or UL 972 for burglary resistant glazing materials.
